Text message program

Last updated August 24, 2026

Sampull (operated by Sampull LLC) is a business-to-business marketplace where beverage brands book in-store product sampling events at retail stores. We send text messages to registered Sampull users — retail store operators and samplers — about their own account and their own bookings. We never send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never sell or share mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes.

What we send

Messages are transactional and always tied to a booking on the recipient’s own account:

  • New sampling request — a brand has requested a sampling at your store. You can reply 1 to accept or 2 to decline.
  • Sampling needs confirming — a sampler has finished at your store. Reply 1 to confirm it happened.
  • Booking updates — you were approved for a sampling, or a booking you are staffing was moved or cancelled.
  • Reminders — a reminder the morning of a booked sampling.

Replies are limited to these service interactions. Two-way conversation is used only to respond to the prompts above and for customer-care questions about an existing booking.

How you opt in

Opt-in happens inside your Sampull account — we never add a number from a purchased list, and creating an account does not by itself enroll you in text messages. After signing in you go to Settings → Notifications and:

  1. enter your mobile number;
  2. verify that you control it by entering a one-time code we text you (Twilio Verify);
  3. turn on the specific message categories you want. Every category is off by default — no messages are sent until you switch one on.

You can also set quiet hours, and we will not text you during them.

The Sampull Settings → Notifications screen, showing a mobile number field with a Send code button, message category checkboxes that are unchecked by default, and quiet-hours controls.
The consent screen inside a Sampull account (Settings → Notifications). Message categories are unchecked until the account holder turns them on.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends entirely on your own booking activity — there is no recurring broadcast. A typical active user receives roughly 1–5 messages per week. A user with no active bookings receives none.

Cost

Sampull does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.

Getting help

Reply HELP to any message for support information, or email us at info@sampull.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message to end all text messages from Sampull. You will receive one confirmation, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in. You can also turn any category off at any time in Settings → Notifications inside your account. Opting out of texts does not affect your Sampull account or your bookings — you will still see everything in the app.

Privacy

Mobile numbers collected for text notifications are used only to deliver the messages described above. No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared with our messaging provider solely to deliver these messages. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
